15 If you
[really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
16 And I
will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper,
Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you
forever—

shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and
unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one
accord in one place. 2 And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it
filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire,
and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave
them utterance.
Prayer
- Lord, fill my heart with Your love, the love that submits, that obeys, that trusts, that yields to You on a daily basis
- Lord, You know all things especially the condition of my heart, please examine my heart and rid me of anything that will not allow the fire of the Holy Spirit to fall on me.
- Lord Jesus, give me a copy of Your heart.
- Father, I present my life as an offering on Your altar, let Your fire fall and consume this offering.
- Lord Jesus, Let Your fire fall.
- Baptise me afresh with the Holy Spirit and power, make me Your witness indeed.
- Father, deliver me from every form of fear and timidity
- I receive boldness to stand and utterance to be Your witness.
