Corinthians 2:16

who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the
mind of Christ.”
Philippians
2:1-5
“If
there be therefore any
consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit,
if any bowels and mercies, fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let
nothing be done through strife
or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than
themselves. 4 Look not every man
on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ
Jesus:”
Colossians
2: 1- 5
“For I would that ye knew
what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many
as have not seen my face in the flesh; That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and
unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement
of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the
treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with
enticing words. For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit,
joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness
of your faith in Christ."
The POWER to
bear the MIND OF CHRIST here on earth has been released upon us all without
limitation. It is only in bearing the Mind of Christ that I can be made worthy
to bear the Ministry of Christ as Paul did to the Christians in Colosse.
- Paul wrote this letter to them while he was in prison.
- He did not have personal contact with them but yet connected to them.
- He gave the same attention to the Colossians as he did to his other ministry.
In bearing the Mind of Christ in my
daily walk, there must be:
1. No room for challenges to limit the purpose of
God – conscious effort to run with the goal of Heaven in every way. John 16:33
Prayer:
- Lord please have mercy on me and forgive me where I have allowed challenges to limit Your expression in every area of my life.
- Please deal with every area where my emotions have interrupted Your Will for my life.
- Lord weaken the power of my emotions over every area of my life, energize me in Your Will by The Power of The Holy Spirit at all times.
2. Deep connection to God
and God's people – focused attention on God for the fear of not loosing connection with Him,
and at the same time for the fear of not loosing fellow brethren to the world. John 17:12
Prayer:
- Lord please perfect my ways and my relationship with fellow brothers and sisters in the fear of God.
- Scrutinize my life and make it worthy of the free flow of Your power. Rid my life of anything that has served the purpose(s) and any established activities of the flesh.
- Shine Your light upon my life, help me to walk in both the standard and the power of Your light at all times.
3. Full attention to all that matters to God – to be morally and
mentally attached to Jesus in all things. Philippians
3:10
Prayer:
- Lord let Christ be fully formed in me – in both my walk with You and my work for You.
- Collide with any form of disability in my inner man, please breathe on me afresh.
- By The Power of The Holy Spirit, help me to simply bear the Mind of Christ in all things.
- Increase my faith in You, cause my eyes to be fixed on You alone, release on me the special grace to stand and move in the mind of Christ till the end.
